Volunteers at the Leverett Library

The library depends on its volunteers to keep its doors open. Most volunteers work 2-hour shifts, either weekly or biweekly. We keep a wishlist of tasks that we would appreciate assistance with, including offering programs (especially programs for youth); cleaning DVDs and audiobook discs; and postering local places with flyers, and shelving to name a few.

If you would like to volunteer at the library (either by taking a weekly or biweekly 2-hour shift or by helping with special projects for toddlers/preschoolers, elementary-school-age kids, or young adults, or with a family game night or anything else!), please contact the Library Director to discuss the types of projects and help we are currently seeking. Volunteering at the library is a great way to get to know your community!
