COMMUNITY MINI ART SHOW
Return your completed mini canvas to the library front desk or Audio Visual return slot outside by June 30.
We'll put the canvases on display in the Community Room starting July 1 for everyone to enjoy all summer. Come to the exhibit reception on July 11 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. to celebrate everyone's creativity. Pick up your canvas to take home from the Community Room between August 25 and 29, or pick it up from the front desk after then.
COMMUNITY READS
Let’s dive into the world of a wonderfully weird rodent that lives in Leverett by reading Beaverland by Leila Philip for adults and teens and What Goes On Inside A Beaver Pond? by Becky Cushing Gop for kids. Beavers have a surprisingly oversized role in American history and this year’s Community Reads by New England authors break open the dam on how they’ve shaped this country and impact its future.
Pick up a copy of either at the front desk or place a hold for Beaverland (as book, ebook, or audio Playaway) here or for What Goes on Inside A Beaver Pond? here.
Kids ages 5-12 are encouraged to come learn about beavers at our interactive workshop on July 22.
TEEN BOOK BOXES
Teens and tweens, treat yourself to a personalized book box. You’ll get snacks, gifts, and two library books customized to your tastes. Request a box using a form that will be available here starting June 27.
